What does therapy look like?

Therapy is challenging, but it doesn't have to be something you dread doing. No matter your comfort level or past experience with therapy, you can do this.

 

You deserve a therapist who will be authentic and gentle as you show up with your most vulnerable self. I am here to help you move at your own pace and focus on the work that matters most. Our work will be collaborative, not cookie-cutter. We will create a plan together and work on getting to the "why" behind your concerns so that you can have long-lasting change, rather than a quick fix that fades away after time. Some people like to start by giving me the full story right off the bat, and some may feel better taking things slowly.

I believe that you are highly intelligent and brilliantly adaptive, and I want to help you. My aim is to guide you in re-learning trust in yourself and your body so that you can feel confident and alive.

I offer online therapy using an integrative approach which incorporates somatic techniques, Compassion Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and grief work to help my clients acknowledge and honor the pain they have experienced while moving towards the change they long for.
